Protein Roasted Butternut Squash

This recipe is so easy and so good for you!

Ingredients

  • 1 Butternut squash, peeled and cubed
  • 1 Purple onion, cut into wedges
  • 5 or 6 cloves garlic whole
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • ½ cup Morellifit Nutrition Protein (we recommend vanilla)
  • Salt & pepper
  • Pinch of cayenne

Directions

Amount of protein can be adjusted depending on amount of protein per serving is desired. This soup is simple and very forgiving so add protein according to your tastes and needs.

  • Preheat oven to 425ºF.
  • Toss the veggies and garlic with a little olive oil and spread on a cookie sheet.
  • Roast the veggies for 30 minutes or until the butternut squash is can easily be pierced with a fork.
  • Put your veggies with water in a saucepan and blend with an immersion blender, or use a blender.
  • Add ½ cup of Primal Body whey protein.
